A buzz cut is both trendy and functional, not requiring very much time in the stylists chair and very little upkeep on your part. For parents that want to keep their young man’s hair longer a classic cut may be the way to go. This is a very clean cut look for little boys, with hair layered short on top and tapered down on the sides and back of the head. The hair around the ears and at the nape of the neck is kept trimmed neatly. Keep in mind though, that if your child squirms in the chair the haircut will not be absolutely perfect. But the overall tidy appearance of the fresh haircut is the most important thing.
Quick and easy is great for little girls too. Many parents choose to leave their little girls hair long with just a periodic trimming of the ends for maintenance, perhaps adding bangs for an easy change. For little girls without long hair a short bob is both trendy and easy, requiring little up keep beyond trimming the ends. Keep in mind your child’s ability to sit still and comfort level with the stylist before going through with the haircuts.
