Popular Long Hairstyles for 2010

The year 2010 popular featured long hair styles that were sleek or curly and often fringed. The sleek look was simply that, long and smooth. This process required little more than a flat iron and hair product to make the hair shiny. The long, flowing locks with big curls were a soft look that went well for any occasion. This hairdo was worn by the famous pop and R&B singer Beyonce.

Long hair fell below the shoulder in flowing waves or soft cascading curls. These hairstyles boasted long tousled layers. Hair was more natural than the super-sleek straight hairstyles of the previous years. In a throwback to sirens of the silver screen, many chose the 1940′s “mermaid” look with a slight wave over one side of the face.

Women popular long hairstyles for 2010 may change with the seasons and with time, but there are many flattering hairstyles that continually appear. Classic hairstyles, vintage looks, and modern looks for long hair are all popular for those with the luxury of long hair.
